The Closest Thing to Augusta National in PGA Tour 2K25

User-created courses coming up clutch again!

Augusta National is one of the greatest golf courses in the world and one of the greatest venues in sports. The historic course in Augusta, Georgia has taken away the breaths of golf fans for decades and continues to do so today. From the tall trees, to the flowers, to the pure greenness, Augusta National is special.

And we’ve been fortunate enough to see the course in video game form, first from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 to 14, and then to EA Sports PGA Tour (2023). But what about PGA Tour 2K? The game formerly known as The Golf Club has never had The Masters or any of the other majors for that matter until PGA Tour 2K25 dropped and gave us the US Open, PGA Championship, and Open Championship. But alas, that one elusive major and its course are once again absent.

So with no Augusta National available in PGA Tour 2K25, is there a way to still play the legendary course virtually? Well, you’re in luck because thanks to the game’s Course Designer and its community of very talented creators, we can play the iconic course.

Finding An Alternative To Augusta National In PGA Tour 2K25

Each year, some creators go out of their way to make their own versions of the course and it’s no different this year. 2K23 had some terrific ones that have yet to be imported into 2K25 at the time of this article. And unfortunately, for reasons that are obvious, it’s all been a bit of a word-of-mouth experience when trying to figure out which courses match that of Augusta, or are at least close.

But there’s one that we discovered in 2K25 and it’s very well made. Being careful here, try simply searching for “Berck” and I think you’ll recognize which course is which. The course itself is called “Berckmans Place.” This is a great version of the course and is fun to play while waiting for other creators to design or import their versions to PGA Tour 2K25. It’s not perfect as the 4-star user rating implies, but it’ll certainly do.

We haven’t found anything on the par 3 course yet, but there’s no doubt that someone will go ahead and create that as well as the game’s cycle goes on. It would be a nice cherry on top of the frosting of the cake, and would also serve as a great appetizer to go along with a delicious meal.
