It wouldn’t be a 2K game without grinding for VC, would it? Well, in PGA Tour 2K25, the grind for VC is just as tiresome as ever, especially after the latest changes. So how does one get VC fast?
We won’t sugarcoat it, there’s not really a super “fast” way to get VC. Outside of the initial quests when you first start the game, VC is hard to come by. For example, some of the best chances for VC are in the paid version of the Season Pass. In other words, the fastest way to get VC — just like in NBA 2K — is to reach into your wallet and buy it outright. But obviously, that’s not feasible for everyone. So how does one go about grinding to get it faster?
These are your best options when it comes to getting VC fast in PGA Tour 2K25.
Fastest Ways To Get VC In PGA Tour 2K25
Use Locker Codes
One of the easiest and most common ways to get VC in PGA Tour 2K25 — or any 2K sports game for that matter — is to use Locker Codes. These are essentially promo codes that give the community free VC for just playing the game, and can typically be found on 2K’s social media channels.
To redeem a Locker Code, do the following steps:
- Press the Options button at the main menu
- Go to Settings
- Scroll down to Redeem Locker Code
Once you’re there, you can input whatever Locker Code you’ve found to unlock its rewards. As of right now, there aren’t any active Locker Codes which grant you VC. But be sure to keep an eye on our active Locker Codes article to see what could be added in the future..
Eventually, 2K will release another Locker Code that will give you VC. So keep an eye on all of the official PGA Tour 2K25 social media accounts for updates there.
Do Quests
Another way to grind for VC in PGA Tour 2K25 is by completing the various objectives in the game, also known as Quests. Quests change constantly, with there always being objectives on a Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal basis.
Most Quests don’t reward you with a ton of VC. On average, the Daily Quests will give you 50 VC a piece. But they can add up if you’re constantly playing. A big way to earn VC is to complete the GOAT Playlist Quests through MyCareer, which will net you 100 VC for each objective you complete. You do need to be a little careful as you do certain quests because you can softlock yourself if you’re not careful.
Grind MyCareer In The Shadiest Ways Possible
If you want to get a little more “scummy” with this all, you can also go to career mode, skip training, and change to “perfect swing” difficulty to make the game as easy as possible. From there, in the settings menu of MyCareer, there are menus to change AI difficulty and things like the length of certain events. What you’ll do is set the Signature/Major events to two rounds, and then all other events to one round. Rounds are really what ultimately give you the VC, but the point is you’ll also be beating rivals, knocking out quests, and efficiently upgrading sponsors for extra bits of bonus VC.
No, none of this is that honorable (or maybe even fun), but we’re just here to tell you to how to make VC.
Compete In 2K Ranked Tours
Unfortunately for the single-player peeps out there, 2K is a company whose main purpose with all of their games is to funnel you into their competitive modes. As a byproduct, most of the best rewards in the publisher’s games — especially as it pertains to VC — can be gained through playing such modes.
In PGA Tour 2K25, you’ll have to pay 50 VC to enter a Ranked Tour, and will typically earn 54 back. A return of 4 VC is not a worthy investment, but Ranked Tours can funnel into quests, which will ultimately give you VC as a reward. In addition, early on you will have some quests related to “events” that will give you chunks of VC as you complete a certain number of them.
Finally, if you’re really good at the game, then skins/high rollers is the most risk-reward way to gain VC. If you win consistently, you will be flush with VC. If you’re losing consistently, then you’ll have no VC left.
