College Football 25 boasts an impressive 134 FBS teams for players to choose from. In addition to having all of those schools, the game also does an exceptional job at representing their individual identities and traditions. A vital part of those identities include their uniforms. But which of these uniforms in College Football 25 stand out as being the best in the game?

Before we get too deep into it, I’d like to provide a disclaimer of sorts — this article is just one guy’s opinion. As previously mentioned, there are well over 100 schools in College Football 25 and an almost infinite variety of uniforms to choose from. And there’s no accounting for taste or what makes a great uniform. Do you prefer flashy? Traditional? A variety of factors can alter your power rankings.

Nonetheless, here are the top 10 best uniforms in College Football 25.

Miami Hurricanes – Current Home Jersey

The University of Miami Hurricanes (or “The U”) might not have the flashiest of unis in the game, but that particular shade of orange is iconic. The classic orange home jersey with green and white accents brings back memories of not just multiple national titles, but of individual college greats such as Ray Lewis, Michael Irvin, and Warren Sapp.

Boise State Broncos – Current 2nd Alternate Option

While the Boise State Broncos are best known for playing on blue turf, their jersey game certainly isn’t lacking. Outside of their signature all-blue home uniforms and blistering orange uniforms, their 2nd alternative option uniform is incredibly striking. Boasting a metallic dark blue helmet, black jersey, and blue pants, this is one of the best options in Boise State’s already impressive wardrobe.

Tennessee Volunteers – Smokey Gray Alternate

I don’t know exactly what it is, but I absolutely adore the Tennessee Volunteers’ Smokey Gray alternates. The gray-out jersey, three-star badges on the sleeves, the iconic orange “T” on the helmet — it all just works for me. It feels like a much more striking and complete version of their normal alternates that are all black. While most will associate Tennessee University with their classic orange-and-white uniforms, the Smokey Gray deserves some love as well.

Florida State Seminoles – Current Home

Without question, the Florida State Seminoles have one of the most timeless home uniforms in all of North American sports, which FSU fans can take solace in during this time of need. The maroon jerseys with the gold pants are already a great combo, but the gold helmet with an arrow on it is what truly puts this uniform over the top in terms of its beauty.

Oregon Ducks – Heroes Alternate Option

College uniforms are divided into two categories — the simple and the wacky. When it comes to describing the plethora of Oregon Ducks’ uniforms in the game, they certainly fit quite nicely into the latter category. But one of their wild jerseys that I particularly like is the Heroes Alternate Option, a variation of their all-yellow alternates made to show solidarity with people who are fighting cancer. The yellow tops, black pants, and matte black helmet look really good under the bright lights at Autzen Stadium.

UCF Knights – 2024 Space U

Florida universities obviously have some kind of penchant for making nice jerseys because next on our list is the UCF Knights’ 2024 Space U uniform. Made as an ode to to school’s contributions to the American space program over the last several decades, the latest iteration of the Space U uniform has a gradient black-and-white color scheme with the Orion constellation adorning each sleeve. In place of a traditional stripe, the helmets have mission badges that line the center of it. Lastly, the pant stripe is a visualization of a rocket booster. Gorgeous, I say!

Colorado Buffaloes – Current Home Option

Let me start by saying this not at all a knock on Colorado’s traditional home jersey, which is very nice in its own right. But the smallest detail on the Buffaloes’ alternate home uniform — its white facemask — is what takes the cake for me. It just makes for such a nice contrast with the all-black kit and looks very clean.

LSU Tigers – Current Throwback

The gold-and-purple color scheme on LSU’s throwback uniforms is perfect to me. It’s so reminiscent of the Los Angeles Lakers and shouts “winner.” All in all, there’s not much to say about it. But when you see the white helmet, gold-and-purple top, and white pants, you’ll never forget it. Beautiful uniform, beautiful colors.

Oregon Ducks – Home Gang Green Option

Yeah, we’re going back to Oregon for the No. 2 pick. Because their alternate Gang Green jersey is just too cool to not talk about. I can’t find find any official information that would suggest the uni is a nod to the classic Mighty Ducks franchise, but the uniform — which consists of a green-and-gold top, metallic green helmet, and white pants — certainly looks like it was taking some cues from it (minus the purple). And because Mighty Ducks was one of my favorite movies as a kid, it would feel like a crime if I didn’t include it. Ducks fly together!

Notre Dame Fighting Irish – Current Home

I’m sorry but Notre Dame’s classic home jersey is topping the list. Is it as insane as the 800 Oregon jerseys in the game? No. Is it as sleek as UCF’s Space U threads? Also no. But it’s arguably one of the most iconic uniforms in all of sports. You can’t go wrong with the classic plain gold helmet, navy blue jersey, and gold pants. Nor can you deny the Fighting Irish’s legacy as a college football program. They might change it up from time to time, and EA might have the helmets looking kind of weird in the game right now (at least at night), but Notre Dame always returns to this look because it works.
