Tiebreak Early Access 2 Adds Eight More Players, Online Custom Matches, Player Creator & More

Tiebreak Early Access 2 is available today on Steam adding eight more players, online custom matches, player creator and much more. The new players include Caroline Garcia, Coco Gauff, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Benoît Paire, Casper Ruud, Ben Shelton, Amanda Anisimova and Stan Wawrinka.

Players can now select preferred Point system, Sets per match, games per set, tie-break length, venue and other customizable options. Experiment with the Fast 4-point system for scoring, opt for one set per match, extend tie-breaks to 10 points, or determine the final set winner by securing two consecutive games.

At the Academy, players can fully customize their character, from identity and appearance to clothing, equipment, play style, physical attributes and skills. Tiebreak’s Player Creator offers an extensive range of customization options, allowing you to tailor your appearance from body shape to facial features, including freckle and mole placement.

With Play Styles, you dictate your gameplay by choosing your dominant hand, backhand style, service, receiving style, net aggression, preferred surface and game style. Players can adjust Attributes and Skills to balance their strengths and weaknesses, enabling them to create a personalized playstyle that suits their preferred approach.

Utilize in-game tools to design and generate your custom logo effortlessly. With Logo Creator, you can import SVG images and access a wide range of design tools to craft limitless logos and apply them to player clothing and equipment.

Access the Academy feature to upload and share your custom-created players with the community. You can also download players created by other community members to enhance your roster.

Here are some of the overall enhancements in gameplay and physics as well.

  • Improved player movement
    • Sprinting and strafing feels more grounded and weighted
    • Transitioning between animation is much smoother.
    • Tuned acceleration and deceleration of movement.
    • Hold LT and RT + Joystick Forward will make the player scramble to the net
  • Improved Ball Physics
    • Serves speed feels more realistic.
  • Superseded Serve Type UI
  • Improved ToolTips
  • Pressing ‘B’ to skip Cutscene, which subsequently rectifies user’s accidentally doing a fault from a serve.
  • New Camera functionality- camera will slightly zoom out to improve court view when the ball goes off screen (player’s peripheral vision). This will help users when they are receiving wider shots.
