Continuing with the steady stream of EA Sports College Football 25 news, today EA has revealed the top 25 offenses in EA Sports College Football 25.
We have the full rankings coming together, but it’s nice to see a rating attached to these rankings to get an early feel for how wide the margin will be between the best and worst teams. It’s also worth remembering that the rosters are going to be changing throughout the season as EA will be touching the ratings like they do with Madden.

I’ll wait until tomorrow to have some “takes” about the rankings, but I do think the big thing here is it’s nice to see a margin of 14 points between the top-rated offense and the 25th ranked offense here. You’re going to get a larger disparity between the best and worst teams than in an NFL game, which is part of why a college football game is more fun to me than a pro game, but it’s still good to see it actually now showing up in the numbers.
From there, I can sort of assume it gets real bad real quick for some of the lower and lower rated teams because you’re going to need to drop below 60 at the very least to squeeze in 130+ schools. We’re getting the full rankings tomorrow, so this is just a taste for now, and it still will be harder to decipher everything without seeing some individual player ratings.
