Season 5 centers around the Australian Open, featuring the iconic blue hard courts of Rod Laver Arena, which are playable in both MyCAREER and Exhibition modes.

The latest Centre Court Report shared some gameplay updates coming in Season 5, including slice Power Shots consuming less rally energy, making them a more efficient option during matches. Players will also notice improved effectiveness with certain skill boosts, including Focus Service, Serve Stick Berserker and Diesel Server. Perfectly timed shots will become more challenging to execute when the Rally Energy Meter is low or during extended rallies, while flat shots that are not perfectly timed will have a higher likelihood of going out or hitting the net.

Season 5 will also include new UI features aimed at providing players with valuable match insights. Between points, key stats will occasionally be displayed, allowing players to track their own and their opponent’s performance without needing to pause or wait until the match concludes. For example, after a point ends with a winner, the game may highlight the number of winners each player has hit so far in the match.

The new TopSpin 2K25 Centre Court Pass will include 50 reward tiers with 15 tiers offering free rewards. Players can unlock a total of 42 free rewards and 104 premium rewards.
