UFC 5 Patch 1.16 Arrives Tomorrow with New Fighters, PlayStation 5 Pro Updates

EA Sports UFC 5 patch 1.16 is set to release tomorrow at 1:00 PM ET, bringing additional fighters to the roster, gameplay updates and enhancements tailored for users picking up the PlayStation 5 Pro, which launches tomorrow. Players on the PlayStation 5 Pro will see an increased display resolution up to 4K during gameplay, along with an increased frame rate for KO replays, boosted from 30fps to 60fps.

Tomorrow’s update will add Carlos Prates and Jean Silva to the roster. UFC 309 Fight Week Challenges and new Alter Egos are set to arrive on November 12. Take a look at the patch notes below to see the upcoming gameplay fixes.

Gameplay Updates

  • Fixed an issue that allowed the submissive fighter to immediately transition out of ground and pound after a diving punch or when the dominant fighter goes to postured mount after pouncing on cage knockdowns.
  • Fixed the camera angle after the reversal from full guard bottom to full guard top, against the pass to half guard (single leg reversal).

Misc. Additions and Updates

  • New assorted vanity rewards added.
