Both games are available as standalone purchases, similar to PGA Tour 2K25. That said, when it comes to all these games, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive no benefit from their subscriptions.
This clearly shows that Microsoft probably has no intention of adding the game to Game Pass anytime soon. So, with so much popularity around the 2K games, why doesn’t Xbox list 2K titles on Game Pass?
EA Games Taking Priority On Game Pass
The answer to why 2K titles are not day-one additions to Xbox Game Pass is primarily because of EA’s partnership with the company, and its extensive line of games in the same genre. With EA Sports PGA Tour already making rounds amongst golf enthusiasts, it would be unusual for Xbox to highlight its foremost competitor.
However, this doesn’t mean Xbox isn’t promoting PGA Tour 2K25 separately. With the free demo having gone live last month for the Xbox Series X and S, players can get a glimpse of the new and improved features PGA Tour 2K25 has to offer.
