The MyGM mode in WWE 2K23 provides an immersive experience where players take on the role of a WWE General Manager. Users will have the ability to draft a roster, manage budgets, sign free agents, select match types, arena locations, production elements and more. The goal is to win the weekly ratings battles against a rival GM.

WWE 2K23’s MyGM mode has undergone significant expansion with the addition of several new and upgraded features. Players can now play as new GMs including Xavier Woods, Tyler Breeze, Eric Bischoff, Kurt Angle and Mick Foley. New brands, including NXT 2.0 and WCW are also available to manage. Several new match types and stipulations are included:

  • Triple Threat
  • Fatal 4-Way
  • Steel Cage
  • Backstage Brawl
  • Falls Count Anywhere
  • Submission
  • Iron Man
  • Last Man Standing
  • Tornado Tag matches

MyGM features local multiplayer for up to four players, along with Seasons and Seasonal Challenges to provide exceptional replay value. Shake-ups can occur during a season, altering the gameplay experience and GMs can now earn Slammy Awards at the end of each Season.

The introduction of Keepers allows GMs to retain some of their roster for the next Season’s draft, based on the cost to re-sign and the morale of their team. The Hall of Fame is a new feature in WWE 2K23, and GMs who earn ten Hall of Fame trophies by completing Seasonal Challenges will be inducted into it, earning bragging rights in the process.

The Standard Edition of WWE 2K23 releases on March 17 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. For those of you pre-ordering the Deluxe or Icon Edition, it will release three days earlier on March 14.
