Another year, another insane amount of work put in by Hyperballer, DC, and everyone else to create one of the deepest WWE 2K24 rosters around. This includes updates and changes to over 1,000 wrestlers, which includes wrestlers from all eras of WWE/F, WCW, NJPW, NXT, WoW, and more potentially still to come.
What’s involved in this roster project are re-ratings of the wrestlers, on top of sliders that help to accentuate those same changes. The effort is there to try and create “realistic” battles inside the squared circle that keep gameplay fresh while still giving everyone enough choices to make MyGM and such very fluid.
All the information for what’s in the roster can be found within the Google Sheet that has a detailed glossary, roster, gameplay sliders, and a tab to track all the updates. You can also watch how the roster looks in action as there is a YouTube playlist to scope out.

With that said, let me hand it off to Hyperballer21 to give the rest of the details:
Welcome! As always, our goal is to create a simulation wrestling experience within WWE 2K24. As always, if you care about OVERALLS, then this is not the sheet for you. Gameplay is the priority no matter how things may “look”.
This year things will be slightly different than you’re used to with the goal of making things easier for everyone.
1) Rather than make a “living” sheet that is constantly updated, we will release monthly updates with the goal of increasing load times.
2) Frequency of updates and releases will depend on overall feedback, mentions, retweets, and overall sharing of the information.
3) OVERALLS will be higher in years past to separate the “TOP” from the lower tier wrestlers. Here is an example based on WWE/F:
-80s-90s: Consistent MAIN EVENTERS
-60s-70s: 2nd tier UPPER CARDERS
-40s-50s: MID CARDERS
-30s- LOWER CARD, JOBBERS, NON-COMPETING PERSONNEL
-Note: Tiers vary from promotion
4) We cannot fix the game. All we can do is use the great tools 2K gives us.
5) Here is a little insight on how Paybacks are assigned this year.
-BROADLY USED:
–COMEBACK: Standard for 1-on-1 Babyfaces
–RESILIENCE: Known to kick out/escape situations where most would not. There is no way around the 85 minimum requirement
–FREEZE: Cowardly/Desperate Heels or have a specific animation
–RAGE: Known to squash their opponents or tag team wrestlers. Some MAINs
–IRON JAW: Those known to “no-sell” powerful attacks. Also Indies
–RUN-IN: Part of a Heel stable/team
WRESTLER SPECIFIC:
–MOVE THEIF: Can be assigned during rivalry matches
–LOW BLOW
–POISON MIST
–BLACKOUT
–POWER OF PUNCH
–FIREBALL
